Our client in Cudahy is looking for a Warehouse Operations Manager responsible for the overall management and organization of Milwaukee / Cudahy parts warehouse.
You will oversee the receipt, storage, and shipping of parts, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management, exceptional organizational skills, and a proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
Required :
- Bachelor's degree in warehousing logistics, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in warehouse management, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics and inventory management best practices.
Job Responsibilities :
- Lead the team of 10 or more warehouse professionals.
- Manage day-to-day operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing and shipping.
- Develop and implement processes and procedures to optimize warehouse efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure all parts orders are shipped on time and urgent deliveries get special attention.
- Manage inventory audits.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings within the warehouse operations.
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to parts inventory or warehouse operations.
- Coordinate with other departments how the order shipments should be prioritized.
- Manage Import and Export compliance.
- Monitor and maintain warehouse HSE standards.
- Efficient and accurate warehouse operations.
- Quick reaction on problem solving and decision making.
- Good atmosphere and culture creation in the team
- Continuous follow up on the order backlog and workload.
- Satisfied customers
Salary $90,000-$95,000
Must be able to work M-F in Cudahy, WI
